The Tanooki Suit is a power up in the Super Mario series. It first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3. It lets Mario turn into a raccoon. When Mario is a raccoon, he can swipe his tail to kill enemies, fly after running, crush enemies, and become invincible by turning into a statue.
