Super Mario Kart is the first game in the Mario kart series. It is for the SNES. It was, and is, pretty popular. Super Mario Kart is parochially based off of Super Mario World. It has four courses per cup, and is the only Mario Kart game without a four player mode.
The races are all numbered, excluding Rainbow Road.
