Rookie is a character in the Super Mario series. He first appeared in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. He is Bowser's alter ego and Popple's accomplice. When Bowser takes Mario and Luigi to the Beanbean Kingdom, Cackletta and Fawful attack his Cruiser with them in it, and it crashes in Star Fields. Bowser lands in Tolstar's cannon, and Popple heals him.
