The Mega Star is a powerup in the Super Mario series. It first appeared in Super Paper Mario. It is similar to the Mega Mushroom. It lets Mario, Peach, Bowser, and Luigi become giant 8-bit versions of themselves. While giant, they can crush anything in their way.
